Any non-winning Vermont Lottery Mega Multiplier Cashword ticket from game 1755 is eligible to be entered into the promotion.
Players enter the promotion through the Vermont Lottery app or by clicking on the Mega Multiplier Cashword link found at vtlottery.2ndchanceplay.com.
If the player does not already have a Vermont Lottery 2nd Chance account, the player will need to complete the one-time player registration. Required information for registration includes legal name, a valid email address, mailing address, and date of birth.
Using the email address and password set up during the registration process, players may log in at any time prior to the deadline to submit a non-winning Mega Multiplier Cashword ticket from game 1755.
Players may enter as often as they like but each ticket may only be entered once either through the app or through the internet. No more than 10 tickets may be entered into 2nd Chance in a day.
Entries must be submitted by the Entry Submission End Date for the drawing as listed in the table in section 4.1.
2. Identifying Valid or Invalid Entries
A valid entry must be a valid non-winning Vermont Lottery Mega Multiplier Cashword ticket from game 1673. An entry will be considered a valid non-winner if the information entered by the player matches the information in the official non-winning ticket validation file.
A valid internet entry must have been entered by a registered user.
A valid entry must have been sold by a Vermont Lottery licensed Lottery agent (past or present) or by the Vermont Lottery.
A valid entry must not have been reported by a Vermont Lottery licensed Lottery agent (past or present) as lost or stolen. *If an entrant has an impairment that calls for assistance with entering information on the ticket, the Lottery can provide assistance prior to submitting an entry.
3. Drawing Entry Procedures
Entries are captured through the Mega Multiplier Cashword app, the Vermont Lottery app and via the internet (https://vtlottery.2ndchanceplay.com) and maintained by Pollard Banknote Ltd. or its designee.
Entrants must have successfully submitted the required codes from the ticket.
At the time of ticket submission, the player will play a Mega Multiplier Cashword game to determine the number of entries awarded. Each non-winning ticket will be awarded from two (2) to fifty (50) entries. All Mega Multiplier Cashword games that are interrupted can be replayed by selecting the Complete Previous Games Menu option.
Play for Fun games, games that are played without having entered a non-winning ticket, are not awarded entries.

The drawings will be conducted at Pollard Banknote Limited, 140 Otter Street, Winnipeg, MB, Canada and will be open to the public.
Pollard staff will conduct the drawing.
An independent auditor will be present to verify that drawing procedures were followed.
After the drawing, non-winning internet entry records will be kept for a period of 30 days and will then be destroyed.
5. Winner Notification and Prize Claim Process
Prizes will be issued in the winner's name only. The winner is the name that was entered during player registration.
Prize winners will be notified by mail.
In the event that the Vermont Lottery is unable to successfully contact a winner within thirty (30) calendar days of the drawing, the first alternate for that drawing will be designated as a replacement winner. If the Vermont Lottery is unable to successfully contact a replacement winner within thirty (30) calendar days of winner designation, the second alternate will be designated as a replacement winner. This process will continue in thirty (30) calendar day increments until an alternate is successfully contacted.
All winners must complete a Vermont Lottery Mega Multiplier Cashword Claim Form in order to receive their prize. The winner's social security number must be provided on the claim form. Winner age will be verified; claimants under 18 years of age will be disqualified.
Federal and State regulations require that we report all prizes of $600 and over to tax officials. For all prizes of $600 and over the winner will receive a W2-G.
An entrant may win only once per drawing.
Mega Multiplier Cashword winners' name and town will be posted on the Lottery's Official websites.
By entering the Mega Multiplier Cashword promotion, entrant agrees to the terms and conditions of the Mega Multiplier Cashword Rules.

Tickets from all instant games are eligible to be entered until the deadline for the top prize drawing for the game is held. As there is only one prize per drawing, a player may not win more than once.
Per drawing date, a player can only win the highest prize once and shall not be eligible to win any other prizes for the second chance drawing held on that date.
Per drawing date, a prize winner below the top prize level can only win one time per prize level. For example, if the prize levels (below the top prize level) are $50, $25 and $10, a prize winner can win a maximum of one time per $50, $25 and $10 prize level for the second chance drawing held on that date.
2nd Chance top prize drawings are held on a quarterly basis. The drawing date for each game is determined once the game ends. Once the drawing date is scheduled, the date and other details, such as the deadline for entries will be posted on this website.
Second chance drawings are held on a quarterly basis in March, June, September and December typically on the second Wednesday of the month. CLICK HERE for a list of drawing dates.
Non-winning tickets entered for any specially marked eligible game will be included in a 2nd Chance top prize drawing for that game after the game ends. The drawing will include only tickets from that specific game. The prize will be the top prize offered for that game. For example, if a player enters a non-winning ticket from "Triple 7s" (Game 1273), the ticket will be entered into a drawing for the top prize of that game ($7,777) once the game is ended.

For each entry, enter the Entry Number, which is the 14-digit number on the front of the ticket located in the scratch off area. Then enter its Ticket Number, which is the 12-digit number on the back of the ticket at the top.
First, check your ticket to confirm that it is an eligible game and that it is not a winning ticket. Then confirm that you are entering the correct digits from your ticket. Winners will be contacted using the information they provided when they registered. The names of winners will be posted on this website the day after any drawing.
